Job Description
CrowdStrike is seeking an AI Threat Detection Engineer to develop intelligent cybersecurity solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify, analyze, and prevent advanced cyber threats. The role focuses on building scalable AI-driven detection systems to protect enterprise networks, cloud environments, and endpoint devices.
The ideal candidate will work with security researchers, data scientists, and engineering teams to improve automated threat detection, enhance incident response capabilities, and strengthen cybersecurity defenses through AI-powered analytics.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design and develop AI-based threat detection models for identifying malware, ransomware, and suspicious activities.
✔ Build and optimize machine learning algorithms for anomaly detection and behavioral analytics.
✔ Analyze endpoint, network, and cloud security telemetry to detect emerging threats.
✔ Develop automated threat hunting and alerting pipelines.
✔ Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) teams for rapid incident detection and response.
✔ Improve threat intelligence systems using predictive analytics and AI-driven insights.
✔ Research adversarial AI attacks and strengthen model resilience.
✔ Integrate AI solutions with SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
✔ Monitor and enhance the performance and accuracy of detection models.
✔ Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
✔ 3–5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Threat Detection, or Machine Learning Engineering
✔ Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
✔ Experience with Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
✔ Knowledge of EDR and SIEM tools (CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk, QRadar)
✔ Understanding of network security, malware analysis, and threat intelligence
✔ Experience with Cloud Security Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
✔ Familiarity with automation tools and DevSecOps practices
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
✔ Experience in AI-driven cybersecurity products
✔ Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GCIH
✔ Knowledge of Big Data security analytics
