Infosys is seeking an experienced Power BI Consultant to design and implement enterprise-level business intelligence solutions for clients across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and technical departments to transform raw business data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, DAX, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics platforms. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage business intelligence projects from requirement gathering to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create business performance metrics, KPIs, and executive reporting systems.
• Convert complex datasets into visually appealing and understandable reports.
• Build reusable reporting templates and scalable analytics solutions.

Data Analysis & Data Modeling

• Analyze structured and unstructured business data.
• Develop advanced DAX formulas, measures, and calculated columns.
• Create efficient data models and relationships.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation using Power Query.

Database & Integration

• Connect Power BI with multiple data sources such as:
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • Excel
  • APIs
  • Azure Cloud
  • SharePoint
• Develop ETL workflows for data extraction and transformation.
• Optimize query performance and data refresh schedules.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings and workshops with clients.
• Provide technical guidance and BI recommendations.
• Train end-users on dashboard usage and report interpretation.

Cloud & Security

• Implement Power BI security standards and user access controls.
• Work with Azure cloud analytics and data services.
• Configure gateways, workspace management, and deployment pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies.
