Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AI Governance & Risk Specialist to establish and manage governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems across the enterprise. In this role, you will work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure AI solutions are developed and deployed responsibly, securely, and in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements. The ideal candidate has expertise in AI governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct AI risk assessments across machine learning models, Generative AI applications, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Evaluate AI systems for fairness, bias, explainability, transparency, privacy, and security risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable AI regulations, privacy laws, and industry standards.
- Establish AI risk registers, governance committees, and approval workflows.
- Perform AI impact assessments before production deployments.
- Collaborate with Legal, Security, Compliance, Privacy, Data Science, and Engineering teams on AI governance initiatives.
- Monitor AI systems for ongoing compliance, performance, and operational risk.
- Support internal and external audits related to AI governance and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
- Track emerging AI regulations and recommend governance improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Cybersecurity, Enterprise Risk, or AI Governance.
- Experience implementing governance frameworks for AI or machine learning systems.
- Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, machine learning concepts, and Generative AI technologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
