AI Workflow Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Workflow Engineer to design, develop, and optimize intelligent workflow automation solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI technologies. The ideal candidate will build scalable AI-driven workflows that automate business processes, integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems, and improve operational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered workflow automation solutions for enterprise applications.
• Build intelligent workflows using Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Integrate AI workflows with enterprise platforms, including CRM, ERP, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Develop AI agents capable of autonomous task execution, planning, and decision-making.
• Create and optimize prompt engineering strategies to improve AI performance and response quality.
• Implement workflow orchestration using modern AI frameworks and automation tools.
• Build and manage vector database integrations for knowledge retrieval and contextual AI responses.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize workflow performance, scalability, reliability, and operational costs.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and implement performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into AI-powered automation solutions.
• Document system architecture, workflow designs, APIs, and deployment procedures.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, workflow orchestration platforms, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI application development, workflow automation, or related roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
• Experience with AI workflow orchestration frameworks and Agentic AI concepts.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent orchestration.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native application deployment.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model evaluation, and security best practices.
• Experience deploying production-grade AI automation platforms.
