Job Description

The Autonomous Systems Engineer is responsible for developing AI-driven autonomous technologies that enable machines to perceive, analyze, and interact with their environment without human intervention. This role involves designing perception, navigation, planning, and control systems while collaborating with software engineers, AI researchers, robotics specialists, and product teams to deliver reliable autonomous solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop autonomous systems for robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, and intelligent machines.
• Build perception systems using computer vision, sensor fusion, LiDAR, radar, and camera technologies.
• Develop path planning, navigation, and motion control algorithms.
• Create machine learning and deep learning models for autonomous decision-making.
• Integrate AI models into real-time autonomous platforms.
• Implement localization and mapping solutions such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
• Optimize system performance, safety, and reliability in complex environments.
• Conduct simulation testing and real-world validation of autonomous systems.
• Develop software for obstacle detection, avoidance, and route optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate sensors and embedded systems.
• Monitor and improve autonomous system performance using operational data.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards.
• Research emerging technologies in robotics, AI, and autonomous mobility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in robotics, autonomous systems, AI, or machine learning engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Experience with robotics frameworks and autonomous technologies.
• Understanding of control systems, sensor technologies, and machine learning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
