Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing Data Science and Artificial Intelligence team. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to solve complex business problems and drive strategic decision-making. You will work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to build predictive models, develop AI-powered solutions, and deliver actionable insights that support business growth.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to transform data into innovative products and measurable business value. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, programming, cloud platforms, and data visualization, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive, statistical, and machine learning models to solve business challenges.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Build forecasting, recommendation, classification, clustering, and optimization models.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
• Develop scalable data science solutions that support production applications.
• Evaluate and improve machine learning model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to develop reliable data pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate business insights effectively.
• Implement model monitoring processes to detect model drift and maintain production performance.
• Support A/B testing, experimentation, and causal inference analyses to optimize products and business strategies.
• Mentor junior Data Scientists and contribute to technical best practices across the team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, AI trends, machine learning techniques, and industry best practices.
• Maintain documentation for models, experiments, methodologies, and technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with MLOps and machine learning deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, responsible AI, and model explainability.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Prior experience mentoring technical team members or leading data science initiatives.
