Our story

Kids don’t just use tech here. They build it.

American Prime Academy is a live online academy where children aged 7–14 learn coding, AI, game design, digital art, robotics and math by making real things — guided by kind, expert teachers in tiny classes.

Our mission

Turn screen time into creator time.

Kids today grow up surrounded by technology — but most only ever consume it. We started American Prime Academy so every child gets the chance to create with it: to write a game, train an AI, animate a cartoon or wire a robot, and feel the spark of “I made that!”

Our programs run for four months with three age-based levels, so a curious six-year-old and a determined thirteen-year-old each learn in a way that fits how they think. Every level ends on stage at Demo Day with a capstone project and a certificate.

What we believe

Four promises we make every family.

They shape how we hire teachers, design lessons and run every single class.

01 construction

Build, don't just watch

Every class ends with something your child made — a robot, a game, an app, a winning move.

Kindness first

Mistakes are celebrated as data. Kids feel safe to try, fail and try again.

03 groups

Tiny classes

A maximum of six kids per class, so every child is seen, heard and challenged.

04 verified_user

Safe by design

Background-checked teachers, closed classrooms and no public chat — ever.

The Prime method

Play. Build. Show it off.

A simple loop that turns curiosity into real skills — and real confidence.

  1. sports_esports

    Step 1

    Play

Every idea starts as a game, a puzzle or a story, so kids lean in instead of tuning out.

  2. construction

    Step 2

    Build

Kids make their own version right away — with a teacher who helps exactly when they get stuck.

  3. co_present

    Step 3

    Show

They present what they made, celebrate mistakes as data and leave proud of something real.

Our teachers

Real engineers, coders and coaches — trained to teach kids.

Fewer than 1 in 20 applicants join our teaching team. Every teacher passes a background check, a live demo class with children and our kid-first teaching training.

“Aiden used to spend weekends on video games. Now he spends them building robots and explaining sensors to his grandpa. The Demo Day was the proudest moment of our year.”
