Terms of Service

The agreement between your family and American Prime Academy when you register or enroll in a program.

Welcome to American Prime Academy! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how our live online classes for children work and what we each agree to. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who can use our Services

Our classes are for children aged 7–14, but accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old (“you”). By registering, enrolling or using our website, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, that you agree to these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of your child, and that the information you give us is accurate.

2. Our programs

  • Programs run for about four months (16 weeks) and are organised into age-based levels — beginner, intermediate and advanced.
  • Classes are taught live online in small groups of up to six students, as described on each program page.
  • Each level ends with a capstone project, a Demo Day presentation and a certificate of completion. Certificates recognise participation and progress in our programs; they are not academic credit or an accredited qualification.
  • We may update curricula, tools and schedules to keep classes current and effective.

3. Enrollment

Enrolling reserves a seat for your child in the program you choose. The program fee is shown at checkout before you pay. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Fees and payment

  • Program prices are shown on each program page and at checkout, in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
  • You can pay in full or, where offered, through a payment plan. If you choose a plan, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the remaining instalments on their due dates.
  • Discounts such as sibling discounts or promotional codes cannot be combined unless we say so, and apply only to new enrolments.
  • If a payment fails, we will let you know. We may pause access to classes until the balance is paid.

5. Scheduling, attendance and make-up classes

  • Your class schedule is confirmed when you enroll. Please join on time with a working device, webcam and microphone.
  • If your child misses a class, the recording is available in your family dashboard and you can request a free make-up session, subject to availability.
  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
  • If we must cancel or move a class, we will offer a make-up session or another solution. Occasionally a different qualified teacher may lead a class.

6. Refunds and cancellations

If a program isn’t the right fit, you can request a full refund within the first two weeks. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

7. Safety and classroom conduct

We want every class to be kind, safe and fun. Students are expected to be respectful to teachers and classmates, keep their cameras appropriate, and never share personal contact details in class. Parents agree not to record classes themselves or share class links with anyone outside the family.

All teachers are background-checked, classrooms are private and public chat is disabled. We may remove a student from a class, or end an enrollment, if their behaviour repeatedly disrupts learning or puts others at risk. We will always talk to you first where possible.

8. Your child’s projects and our materials

  • Your child’s work belongs to your child. Projects, games, apps and designs your child creates remain theirs. We will only feature a child’s project publicly (for example in a showcase) with a parent’s permission, and only with a first name and age.
  • Our materials belong to us. Lesson plans, slides, videos, recordings, worksheets and software provided by American Prime Academy are for your family’s personal, non-commercial learning use and may not be copied, shared or resold.

9. Equipment and third-party tools

Classes may use third-party platforms (such as video classrooms, coding environments or design tools) and, for robotics, physical kits. Those tools are subject to their own terms. Robotics kits are recommended but not included in the program fee and are not sold by American Prime Academy; a kit you buy is covered by the seller’s warranty and return policy.

10. Disclaimers

We work hard to make every class excellent, but learning outcomes vary from child to child and we cannot guarantee specific results such as competition wins, grades or admissions. The Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Prime Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program in question during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending these Terms

You can stop using our Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We’d always prefer to resolve concerns informally first — please contact us and we will do our best to help.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email before they take effect for your current enrollment. Questions? Email hello@americanprimeacademy.com or write to American Prime Academy, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
